Service

“I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then, should was one another’s feet. I have set an example for you so that you will do just what I have done for you.” (John 13: 14-15)

Service opportunities help teens become good stewards of the Faith. They are an essential part of the confirmation candidate’s formation in discipleship.

ALL  9th grade & ALL 10th grade teens MUST COMPLETE A MINIMUM OF 10 SERVICE HOURS EACH YEAR (Service is not a requirement in the 8th grade year, though it is still highly recommended)

9th & 10th Graders, turn in the Service Hour Log Sheet (link below)by the deadline (see each grade's info for due date). Complete one log sheet and turn in only when all hours have been logged! MUST BE SIGNED BY PARENT!

We provide numerous opportunities during the year for teens to volunteer at St. Benedict events, a few opportunities are even provided during regular class time (for 8th, 9th, and 10th grades).

In addition, teens are welcomed to find other opportunities in the community to complete service hours (provided that the type of volunteer work is considered one of the corporal works of mercy).
