St. Benedict Catholic Church invites you to our annual Lenten Mission. This year we are blessed to have Fr. Damir Stojić, S.D.B., guide us through our Lenten journey, recognizing our sin, encountering the Lord’s love and mercy for us, and our response to His Holy Spirit. The Mission will consist of three days of reflection and prayer.
About Our Speaker, Father Damir Stojic
Fr. Damir Stojić is a Salesian priest who ministers to youth and young adults in Croatia. Fr. Stojić was born and raised in Canada. After an encounter at Međugorje, decided to become a priest. He graduated from the University of Zagreb and was ordained to the priesthood in June of 2002. He received his Licentiate in Sacred Theology from Catholic University of America in 2007. He returned to the University of Zagreb to serve as Campus Minister from 2007-2020. He has served as a member of the Youth Ministry council of the Croatian Bishop’s Conference and the Youth Ministry Council of the Croatian Salesian Province of St. John Bosco. Fr. Stojić currently serves as a chaplain for the Croatian Military Academy.
