Requesting Mass Intentions
Please note that due to the size of our Faith Community, Mass intentions are often booked far in advance.
So that as many parishioners as possible can schedule a Mass intention during the year each person can request a maximum of 5 specific intentions per year. Only one intention can be taken for each Mass. A single intention may be for multiple individuals, e.g., for the deceased members of the Smith family.
Per Canon Law one Mass every Sunday and one Mass on each Holy Day must be reserved for the intention of the “People of the Parish.” The Mass is known as “Pro Populo.”
To request a Mass intention, please stop by the front office Monday through Friday, 9am – 4pm or call 770-442-5903. There is a suggested stipend of $10 for each Mass intention.
