Music Involvement Opportunities
Since St. Benedict Catholic Church’s very beginnings, it has been known for its outstanding music program. We believe that through singing and playing we amplify God’s Word as it is proclaimed in worship each week. Our volunteer musicians express our joy in God’s love, enhance worship, enrich church members young and old, and serve as an inspiring vehicle for community outreach.
The music ministry includes eight choirs, three instrumental ensembles, and a chamber orchestra involving over 150 musicians from Kindergarten on up. Participation in our choirs and chamber orchestra is open to any who wishes to join. Membership in the instrumental ensembles associated with contemporary music groups is at the discretion of the directors.
We welcome new participants any time. You can find registration forms here on the website under the corresponding choir title. We look forward to hearing you soon!
